A light week for trademark fee updates
This week’s only fee trademark fee increase is part of an across-the-board increase planned for Canada, effective January 1, 2024.
Canada Madrid Trademark Fee Updates Effective January 2024
As of January 1, 2024, the amounts of the individual fee payable in respect of Canada will change. Below are the updates:
- 362 Swiss francs for one class of goods or services and 113 Swiss francs for each additional class, when renewing an international registration in which Canada has been designated.
- 299 Swiss francs for one class of goods or services and 91 Swiss francs for each additional class, when designating Canada in an international application or subsequently.
