We spent some time this week simplifying and improving our EP and Unitary cost workflows within IP Forecaster. It’s now easier to automate the inclusion of the right costs at the right time, and it’s easier to know upfront which countries are covered. As a final bonus, you can now export Route Finder results – probably the most frequent request we hear in demos.
Let’s see what was updated!
IP Forecaster: Improved EP/Unitary User Interface
When you selected the Unitary route, we didn’t provide any visual clue to show you which jurisdictions were selected, until you got to the forecast results. With this update, when you select the Unitary route, we show all the included countries in a dedicated Unitary section – making it easier to know what you are getting in your forecast.
IP Forecaster: New EP Cost Filters
Until now, if you wanted to set up law firm fees for payment of designation fees or Unitary Opt-in or Opt-out, they had to be created as optional fees that are selected when doing a forecast. We’ve now added the ability to automate these fees, allowing you to create a law firm fee that only applies if the Unitary route or Traditional routes are selected – or if both are selected.
IP Forecaster: Route Finder Export
When you do a forecast and use Route Finder to look at different cost options, it would be helpful to be able to print or save the results. With this update, you can export the results to PDF – making sharing a whole lot easier!
