This week, we kicked off developing an enhanced translation cost management and comparison feature for IP Forecaster, as well as developing our strategic portfolio planning feature. You’ll hear more about these features over the next several weeks. We also brought our trademark forecaster in line with patents, enabling the use of multiple custom law firm fees in forecasts.
Let’s check it out!
IP Forecaster: Assign Translation Costs To Firms
We introduced translation costs in October, but have had several requests to extend support for forecasting fees when using law firms with custom translation costs. This week, we’ve introduced the first version of this feature, which allows you to assign translation costs to firms and incorporate them into forecasts. Wait until you see what is coming next week for translations.
IP Forecaster: Custom Fiscal Year for Companies
We are extending IP Forecaster to do strategic cost planning for companies, so our reports and forecasts must be aligned with a company’s fiscal year. To support this requirement, we’ve added a new feature that allows companies with non-calendar fiscal years to configure their set up easily.
IP Forecaster: Custom Law Firm Support for Trademark Forecasts
In November, we added the ability to create and use custom law firms in patent forecasts. This week, we extend that functionality to trademark forecasts. Create an unlimited number of custom firms with custom fees, and Prokurio will let you select which firm you want to include in your forecast.
