This week, we focused on enhancements to our IP Budgeting import capabilities. We’ve added support for additional patent types (provisional, utility model, etc.) and automated the creation of fees tied to docketing activities. We’ve also made it easier to specify the number, quarter, and jurisdictions for new applications.
Let’s check out the updates!
Client Planner: Filing Type Support on Import
Our IP Budgeting imports now support all the various filing types that you are likely to have in your portfolio. This ensures that the proper fees are applied to your different matter types.
Client Planner: Task/Fee Creation on Docket Import
On the Docket Import utility, we’re now able to scan the import for any new tasks that are being introduced from your excel file. This allows us to then present you with a list of those tasks where you can enter your fee amount as well as update the deadline and have the system automatically create that task/fee for your firm into the system. Gone are the days of manual task/fee creation for your law firm fees!
Client Planner: Enhanced New Applications Section
We’ve reworked the new applications interface in Client Planner. When you click on the + button to add a new plan, you’re given an interactive spreadsheet view above that allows you to update quarterly new filings and also add one or more countries for those filings directly into the sheet. We also provided “Apply to all” and “Apply to selected” buttons to speed up your decision process across the portfolio.
