Our IP Budget Planning tools keep getting better! This week, we updated the docket file engine to be more intelligent when calculating prosecution costs. We’ve also improved our personalization features; firms can now customize the Client Planner spreadsheet columns to their needs.
In IP Forecaster, we’ve made it easy to aggregate costs for multiple countries in patent forecasts where only a count is needed (e.g., ARIPO).
Check it out below! Here’s to 2025, Let’s go!
Client Planner: Improved Docket Forecasting
To make your IP budget planning even more accurate, we have shifted the forecasting of projected allowance and grant costs to the docket planner.
This makes for a smoother transition from prosecution costs and results in a more accurate budget.
Client Planner: New Spreadsheet Configuration
In Client Planner, we’ve enhanced the spreadsheet view to allow you to add, remove, and re-order columns.
This makes it easy for you only to see what is important to you.
IP Forecaster: New Field Type for Patents
We’ve added a new field type that can be used with country or agent charges based on a number, like the number of designations.
Select “Per Country Charge” in the advanced settings when creating a fee, and you will be asked for the number of countries when creating a forecast with that country. Prokurio will do the math and multiply the number by whatever fee you have configured.
