After all the USPTO fee updates last weekend, our heads were spinning! Several trademark changes required a software update, so we addressed that and also simplified US trademark cost estimates.

IP Forecaster: US Trademark forecasting Updates
The USPTO updates last week required several changes to trademark forecasting. We’ve removed the TEAS transmission method option and default to electronic now. The USPTO also added several new fees, which can be accessed in a new US-specific section in the upper right section of the screen.
IP Forecaster: Anonymize Law Firm Fees in Trademark Exports
Our trademark cost estimator now has the same capability to anonymize law firm fees as patents. When you export to PDF, Word, or Excel, toggling the anonymize switch on will replace your foreign associate name with a generic description of “Foreign Firm Fee.”
Client Planner: Docket Planning Sequence Enhancements
We’ve made the Docket Sequence setup more flexible, allowing you to create multiple paths for docket cost calculations. You’ll have access to all possible paths in the docket planner wizard, making it easy to fine-tune your docket cost projections.
