This week’s updates are focused on improving patent and trademark fees. We’ve updated task information to provide more context for each task, opened up dynamic fee references for even more accurate timelines in Client Planner and simplified IP Forecaster export summaries for our corporate clients.

IP Forecaster: More Detailed Fee Information
We’ve updated IP Forecaster PTO fees to allow additional information to appear as hover text in your forecast results. If additional information is available for a task, simply hover your mouse over the “i” icon, and the text will appear, providing more context for that task and its fee.
Client Planner: New Dynamic Law Firm Fees
We’ve given you more flexibility in setting up patent and trademark fees or fees for you, your clients, or your international associates. Fees can now be based on PTO fees or your law firm fees. Select Fixed or Dynamic calculation methods and choose the starting point you want.
Fees can be incorporated into IP Forecaster or Client Planner, allowing you to easily create complex timelines for forecasts and budgets.
IP Forecaster: Enhanced Export Summary for Companies
Showing some love for our corporate clients, we have simplified the export summaries for your PDF and Word exports. Now, you see an easy-to-read three-column breakdown of all law firm fees, translation costs, and PTO fees by jurisdiction, in addition to the totals and grand total of your forecast on the first page.
