This week’s updates for IP Forecaster are all focused on increasing our flexibility to address nearly any forecasting scenario you may encounter. Optional costs and surcharges can now be easily configured, and you can create custom law firm fees for paying nearly any maintenance scenario. We’re also reviewing our screens to improve usability and ensure that just the right data is shown.

IP Forecaster: New Optional Fee/Surcharge Functionality
Optional fees and surcharges are a way of life for IP professionals. We’re adding these fees to our global database of PTO fees and making it easy to include them when needed for an accurate cost forecast. Simply click the toggle, and the fee will be included.
IP Forecaster: Routes Now Shown On Country Screen
Knowing which is which is which can be a challenge with all the different fees and filing routes available globally. We now show the applicable filing routes/conventions on the country screen to simplify things. No more wondering which fee applied to which route!
IP Forecaster: Law Firm Maintenance Payments Easier to Setup
This week, we’ve made creating law firm fees for patent maintenance payments easier. Simply apply one fee to all maintenance payments, or quickly create a tiered pricing system for all fees – fast and flexible!
